Witches´ circles

The picture was taken on my first journey to Greece using a Nikon 35 mm compact camera and Fujichrome film. At a small bay where river meets sea, plants have formed circular structures. When I returned to Serfios in July 2005 the circles were completly submerged and invisible as a result of humid weather conditions.

Notice also the decay of slide film when stored for 17 years under suboptimal conditions somewhere in a drawer. Consider that there is nobody yet with knowledge of the stability of photos taken with amateur digital camera equipment and stored on self-made CDs within a period spanning two decades.
